Septal Occluder Placement

A catheter passes from the right to the left atrium. The disc in the left atrium is expanded and placed against the atrial septum. The right disc is expanded, and the Occluder is released from the wire.

The AMPLATZER Septal Occluder

The Septal Occluder is delivered through a catheter. The Occluder expands to place a disc on either side of the defect, closing off the hole between the left and right atria.
